HOW A SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Providing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware. Working closely with GDIT employees to ensure IT tickets are responded to, and resolved, in a timely manner. Monitoring and responding to hardware and software problems with a variety of testing tools and techniques. Providing onsite support for other technical and organizational groups including hands-on/eyes-on assistance for remote teams. Offering technical support and training to end-users. Expanding current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. Maintaining systems for conference rooms and associated AV components. Participating in special projects as required. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
