How a Principal Systems Engineer will make an Impact: SME level support for large deployments of Microsoft Exchange environments and messaging systems. Manage, maintain, and upgrade existing Microsoft Exchange servers. Troubleshoot complex problems in Microsoft Exchange environments. Implement backup and recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity. Participate in system design and changes related to Microsoft Exchange. Collaborate with other engineers to enhance email systems. Providing technical support to end users for software and/or hardware issues. Ensuring the security and integrity of system and product solutions. What You’ll need to Succeed: Education : BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline required. Required Experience : 8+ years Required Technical Skills : DoD 8140/8570 IAT III compliance Security Clearance Level : Active Top Secret Required Skills and Abilities : Strong verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to convey conceptual ideas both written and verbally; Strong problem-solving skills Location: Washington, District of Columbia; limited telework may be available
